Xylona Asked:
Where can I get very cheap glasses in London that are clear so I can protect my eyes whilst cycling in the dark conditions these days?
Reply:
Safety glasses work but so do yellow lenses available most places that sell cheap sunglasses.

Kango Man has beaten me to it, word for word – at least take the trouble to get the worst of the muck off the dishes/plates first.
first try adding Jet-Dry. There should be a spot by the detergent slot to add it. it should take care of that.
Thank you for your very quick comment!
cool bike. im in the process of building a bike like that with a 40 cc motor with rear wheel steering ” )
Best thing about my kitchen is how the washing machine's spin-cycle sends all me wine glasses crashing down on my unshod feet. What larks!
Just realised why our wine glasses keep smashing: they're in the cupboard next to the washing machine. So when that spin cycle kicks in…

you should use the old gravel. About how long, it can be relative and different each other, depends on your fish healthiness.. but, I recommend to run them about 3 – 4 months..
You have to understand the failure mechanisms to answer this question. First – how do these elements fail?
Steel will fail due to fatigue with time, which means an equal load applied over time can cause failure by a similar mechanism to bending a paper clip back and forth, this failure type is called ductile failure. Glass and concrete fail much differently, they fail brittly, which means if an applied load does not initially cause failure it will never cause failure unless the structure is damaged. With brittle failing materials the surface is very important in that any flaws on the surface will eventually lead to crack propogation by Griffith's criteria. Glass has the highest theoretical strength of all materials but because of surface defects (like cracking) the actual strength is much lower. To strengthen a brittle material you must prevent crack propogation, which many forms of concrete can do by adding some large particle to the batch. Something like a porceline aggregate can be added to stop crack propogation in a similar way that rebar is added to concrete in other situations (buildings and highways). Glass can be strengthened by introducing a compressive stress on the surface (tempering or ion strengthening) which acts against crack formation.
As for overall strength and lifetimes it depends on the applied load and form of the material.
For theoretical strengths: concrete<steel<glass
I suggest you look at stress strain curves for the various materials if you want to understand lifetime better. At high loads both the concrete and glass will fail immediately where the steel may hold for a short amount of time. At low loads the glass and concrete may hold forever while the steel will fail in time. At medium loads either the glass or concrete may fail immediately while the other lasts forever and the steel fails in time but less time than with a lesser load.
This all seems complicated but really its about applied load and material failure mechanics.
The scrutiny n Miami is very hi, I have shown my ID twice morn, sitting on cycle w/sun glasses when it's cloudy not good, red-eye love. Dog
Expensive wine glasses have a life cycle of just a few weeks in this house.
looks like a retarded parade at the end
While shoveling all the snow that hit my glasses developed its own melt/freeze cycle. Fail.
1:the’re crazy 2:it’s probly in there family blood :/

No touching….be specific
No tapping on the glass
You might want to talk to other teachers that have used a butterfly tent and get thier imput.
Blessings
IF THERE IS GREASE ON THE INSIDE OF THE OVEN DOOR GLASS, THEN IT IS NOW TIME. JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE THE RACKS OUT FIRST. AFTER THE CYCLE IS DONE, THEN USE A DAMP SPONGE TO WIPE UP THE ASH. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO OPEN THE WINDOW. MINE HAS ASHED SOME BIG SPILLS AND DID NOT SMOKE THE HOUSE UP DURING CLEANING. AFTER THAT CLEAN IT EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH YOU USE IT.
Beta's are pretty tough. you really don't need a heater either. If you're comfortable in the room with the temperature, so will he. Just make sure that you have removed the chlorine from the water before you put him in. You may want to put a little water from his current tank in a baggie, put him in the baggie as well, and place the baggie in the new tank to allow him to adjust to the temp before dumping him in.
A great water conditioner will help remove the chlorine as well as produce a slime coat for him, as most fish do get a little stressed out when moved. Walmart will have this or any pet store.
Wash your glasses by hand.
It can be good and bad. If anything, it wil relax you for a bit and maybe you'll feel less stressed. Drs will even tell you that you can have an occasional glass when preggers, red wine that is, so why not during IVF??
haha thanks yannick, these times are pretty slow, but its over a month old
Hello,
(ANS) Its depends on how BIG the classes are (you haven't stated the size or volume) i.e. could be just a few fluid ounces or could be several prints? either way drinking large amounts of water is never really recommended.
**I think the pseudo health lobby & the government has become obsessed with utterly stupid ideas about such things as drinking LOTS of water each day & eating x7 pieces of fruit each day. Its totally nutty in my view & there is zero evidence that it improves health anyway.
**drinking 10+ glasses of water will just make your kidneys & liver work harder than it would normally and will have no positive health effects.
**Drinking alcohol acts as a diuretic & again will just make you pass more urine than you would otherwise, again zero health benefits. In fact alcohol drunk in that way is more likely to have a detrimental effect on the body in my opinion.

My glasses fell off my head into the laundry, it took me 10 min to figure out where they were during the cleaning cycle… Bed time? Mmm yes
Tempering is more something you do when the glass is made. Once it is made, there isn't anything you can do.
I don't think it would be a problem to recycle it, but if you want to double check, go onto your local council's website and e-mail them.

I don't have my glasses on so I'm unable to find my glasses. Vicious cycle.
before i used to drink out of disposable cup's ,for the same reason ,until one day i purchased dish soap with baking soda.
it work's.
I use standard safety glasses like you would buy at a hardware store. You can find them for less than $5US. They have large lenses which do a great job of keeping wind, rain and road debris out of your eyes.
