I bought a pair around 1990 from a cycling shop in australia. there is a company listed in the states called JTusa but they sell paintball equipment.

All in All… it depends on the judges opinion…I would imagine there might be some nit-wit out there who doesn't like paint horses and may give you low marks..but the odds are pretty slim I am sure.
Judging is mostly based on the horse and riders preformance, so there is no reason why you shouldn't give it a shot. If it's your first show, you may or may not place but don't get discouraged.
Also there are clubs that are specifically dedicatied to paint horses (American Paint Horse Assosiation) and hold shows all across the nation with numerous events from jumping, english pleasure, to cutting and roping events….so you can search the web and see if any local 'Paint horse clubs/enthusiasts' are holding shows close to your area.
