The united forces of these two technologies produce performance eyewear that is highly effective and very durable, which makes them a good investment.  While cheaper performance oakley sun glasses can block direct light, and may even block out harmful UV rays, they do not have the advanced capabilities of polarization and polycarbonate lenses which make them suitable for intensive sporting use.
