The best project would be one that interacts with the people. Maybe a USB camera connected to a computer and voice output. The camera might read the number of fingers a person holds up then says "three". Hardware and software both, plus fun interaction is always a winner!

Sure, and I always wear eye googles. They used to steam up my google view, but not anymore. It's better and safe even though you are safe. They sell those sunglass type ones, but googles are safer.
